Thank you so much for taking time to learn more about your Next Steps here at Judson. While life as a Christ follower is not easy, it is the most enriching and life changing experience anyone can ever have. Our pastors and staff are dedicated to seeing the Gospel take hold in your life. If at any point along the way you find yourself stuck and needing guidance, please don’t hesitate to ask. It is my utmost joy to see Jesus working in the lives of those He loves and I cannot wait to see what He has in store for you.

    Jesus is putting your trust in Him. This happens when we repent of our sins and confess our need for Christ to save us. Our goal is to connect as many people to Jesus as possible.

  • God has designed us to worship Him together. We want every person to be connected in worship to the Creator of the universe.

  • Life Groups are the lifeline of Judson. Life Groups keep everyone connected. Our Life Groups minister, study the Bible, share the Gospel, and provide the fellowship needed for growing believers.

  • The Grow Class will teach you different ways to grow in your relationship with God through studying the Bible and prayer.

  • The Give Class is essential for every believer. 

    You will learn the fundamentals of budgeting, tithing, and living a generous life.

  • Everyone has a story.  Your story is your testimony.  We want all believers at Judson to know how to share their story.

  • His Story is the way of salvation. Not only do we want you to share your story of becoming a Christ follower, but we also want you to be able to lead someone else to Christ by sharing His Story.

  • Global Focus is Judson's mission strategy from Nashville to the ends of the earth. We want each person to participate in Global Focus, either by going on mission, giving, organizing, or praying. Each of us is responsible to go and take the Gospel with us.

Membership

You may be asking yourself, where does church membership fall into this "process". Ideally it is slated somewhere between the "connect" and "commit" phases, however in reality if you are Saved and Baptized by immersion you can join Judson at any point. 

In order to complete membership one must attend our Next Steps (new to Judson) class, complete a membership form, and have a short conversation with one of the Pastors.

Membership Form


Why Membership? There are two major reasons:

1: Scripture says so. The new testament addresses the Body of Christ very vividly in 1 Corinthians.

2: If you're not a member, then this is a one way relationship. Every strong relationship requires a defining moment, a commitment. 

We want to strengthen the body of Christ with a commitment between the members of the body of Christ (the Church).
